Cleveland Cavaliers
Starting out as an expansion team in 1970, the Cleveland Cavaliers are most notable for being a team of "almosts" and "what ifs." From Michael Jordan's shot over Craig Ehlo to the trade that sent Ron Harper for the rights to Danny Ferry, the Cavs have been a team of eras that have yet to find a championship banner to hang from their rafters. The future success of the team, along with the hearts of fans, is now in the hands of phenom forward, LeBron James, who has just won the MVP of the 2008/09 regular season and led the team to its best ever franchise record of 66 wins.
The stadium was originally named the Gund Arena after then Cavaliers owner Gordon Gund. The current name shares that of owner Dan Gilbert's company, Quicken Loans. The first event to be held in the arena was a concert by Billy Joel on October 17, 1994. The arena also plays home to events held by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and will be the home of the Lake Erie Monsters (American Hockey League) starting in the 2007-2008 season.

Upon the folding of the ABA, the Pacers were one of four teams to be invited into the National Basketball Association (NBA), beginning in 1976. The Pacers have definitely been a team of eras, with the latest seeing the departure of star guard Reggie Miller, one of the best 3-point shooters ever.
The home of the Pacers also belongs to that of WNBA franchise Indiana Fever. Selected home games by the Indiana Ice (United States Hockey League) are also played at the arena. The venue has been home to the Big Ten Conference tournament (NCAA) as well as various World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) events.

Chicago Bulls

Founded in 1966, the Chicago Bulls were actually the third NBA team to play in Chicago. Their first season saw the Bulls post the best record by an expansion team in NBA history, which was only a sign of things to come for the franchise.
The peak of the team was in the 1990s, where Michael Jordan led the franchise to create a dynasty and set the best ever record of 72 wins in a regular season in 1995/96.
The stadium is named after its sponsor, the United Airlines. It is also home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL). The United Center sports a statue of Michael Jordan on its east side. The United Center claims to be the largest arena in the United States.
